Is your cat over 7? Cats over 7 years old are at risk of high blood pressure (Hypertension) and if caught early we can prevent hypertension causing sudden blindness or chronic kidney disease. Signs of Hypertension in cats are subtle:

  • Yowling in the night
  • Changes in behaviour
  • Impaired vision

The best way to find out if your cat is affected is to check their blood pressure, it’s done using the same method as in people. We offer this service for all senior cats, please book an appointment today.
