Hi I'm Catrin, one of the nurses here at Dr Doolittle's, Cardiff. I qualified as a veterinary nurse in in June 2023 and am continuing my studies on the ISFM Diploma in Feline nursing, a firm favourite species. I have been in general practice for just over 4 years and in this time, have also worked in emergency and critical care.
Known as the 'crazy cat lady', I adore anything feline; if you can't find me, I'll be in the cat ward cuddling the patients. To work at an accredited 'cat-friendly' practice is wonderful, and I am proud of the high standards of nursing care that we provide to patients of all species.
My love for the golden oldies has also led me to increase my clinical knowledge regarding geriatric nursing, and I hope to increase the number of feline and geriatric nurse clinics here at the practice.
I am owned by 2 rescue cats, Haiiro and Montgomery, and a Pomsky, Leo. In my spare time enjoy reading, needlework and riding at my local stables.
