Carys Weaver

Carys completed a FdSc in Veterinary Nursing in 2021 before returning to her studies for another year to achieve my BsC (Hons) in 2022. Alongside her studies she started working at Summerhill Vets part time and continued here post grad as they have such a lovely team.

She has a keen interest in nutrition and hopes to complete a certificate in this field in the near future, so she is able to offer weight and nutrition nurse consults here at Summerhill Vets. Her favourite part of the job is medical nursing, she loves caring for hospitalised patients and seeing them recover.

Outside of work, she enjoys horse riding and walking her very spoilt cocker spaniel Brody! She have a keen interest in small animals and exotics, which stemmed from owning rabbits, guinea pigs and her tortoise Gherkin. She has a lot of pets!
