Alex Lewis

Alex has worked for Summerhill Vets since 2003 where he first started out as a kennel hand. During his time at Summerhill, he had the pleasure of working with Jean Morris who is well known at Summerhill Vets, who taught him so much about the care of animals. In 2019, he completed a diploma in Veterinary Nursing before taking on the role as Deputy Head Nurse.

Alex has a keen passion for wildlife, having treated a variety of wild animals over the years. This interest in wildlife also continues outside of work, as he has a passion for wildlife photography.

Outside of work his spare time is spent with his partner, two children and their cat Lucifer, whose name describes his personality! In his own time, Alex also enjoys running and gardening.
