Practice Closure - Summergrove Vets

We are saddened to announce that Summergrove Vets in Malpas, Newport will permanently close on Friday 3rd July 2026.

However, the team at Summerhill Vets at 43 Summerhill Ave, Newport NP19 8FQ would love to welcome you and your pet(s) from now on. You can expect the same level of expertise and support from them. They will have full access to our clinical records to ensure continuity of care, and you will continue to receive reminders for appointments and other regular communications as per usual.

If you have a future appointment booked at Summergrove, a team member will be contacting you shortly to rebook this for you.

Staying with Summerhill means:

  • Any medical history will be automatically available
  • Online payment facility will continue
  • Out-of-hours care will be at  Vets Now, Newport - Langstone Business Village, Langstone, Newport NP18 2LH   

Our systems and services will continue to be available at our Summerhill and Summerview, meaning you can rest assured there will be no disruption to your pet’s care. This also means your data would continue to be processed by us and our third-party providers to ensure we continue to provide veterinary care. Should you not wish to be transferred to Summerhill Newport, please get in touch with us as soon as possible to enable us to provide a copy of your pet(s) clinical records to an alternative veterinary practice.
