Vaccinations

Vaccinations remain an important way to  protect your pet from the many infectious diseases out there. Dogs are routinely vaccinated now against distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus and leptospirosis. We use a leptospirosis vaccine covering all 4 strains of leptospirosis as this results in a better range of protection for your pet. Dogs can also have kennel cough vaccination, required for kenneling, and rabies vaccinations, required for travel.

Cats are routinely given feline flu vaccination against calici virus and herpes virus, feline enteritis and feline leukamia virus vaccinations.

Rabbits are given myxomatosis and haemorrhagic disease (rhd) vaccines. There are now 2 strains of rhd and we recommend you get both strains vaccinated, which requires an additional vaccine each year. Please discuss further with our team.

For all our pets, why not consider spreading the vaccination costs out through the year with membership of the Pet Health Club, which has lots of other money saving advantages.
